The Missouri Senate MInute for May 23: Extraordinary Session
Jefferson City — Missouri senators begin the Extraordinary Session of the 99th General Assembly. The session was called by the governor in order to secure a smelter and steel mill in southeast Missouri. By law, an extraordinary — or special — session can last up to 60 days. We’ve included actualities from Sen. Gary Romine, R-Farmington, and Sen. Jason Holsman, D-Kansas City, in this feature report narrated by Senate Communications Officer Dean Morgan.
