Jefferson City — Several of Missouri’s new laws relate to education. House Bill 41 is legislation that removes portions of the school funding formula that are no longer relevant due to the passage of time; Senate Bill 93 creates the Campus Free Expression Act; and Senate Bill 334 modifies provisions relating to the boards of regents of state colleges and universities and broadens the degree-granting authority of Harris-Stowe State University. We’ve included actualities from Sen. Mike Kehoe, R-Jefferson City, and Sen. Scott Sifton, D-Affton, in this feature report narrated by Senate Communications Officer Dean Morgan.
