The Senate Minute for May 26, 2015: SB 199

Jefferson City — Missouri senators continue to reflect on the legislative session. Among the issues they’re talking about is Senate Bill 199, a measure that would have created a cause of action for people who have been deprived of certain rights and modified the statute specifying when police officers are justified in using force. Lawmakers will adjourn sine die, thus officially ending the First Regular Session of the 98th General Assembly, tomorrow (5-27). We’ve included actualities from Sen. Bob Dixon, R-Springfield, and Sen. Jamilah Nasheed, D-St. Louis, in this feature report narrated by Senate Communications Officer Dean Morgan.
