The Senate Minute for April 18, 2011: Budget and Redistricting

Missouri senators, this week, are expected to begin debate on the budget for fiscal year 2012. The budget is due on the governor’s desk no later than 6 p.m. on Friday, May 6, 2011. Missouri’s next fiscal year will start on July 1, 2011. More action is expected on new congressional redistricting maps this week as well. We’ve included actualities from Sen. Scott T. Rupp, R-Wentzville, and Sen. Robin Wright-Jones, D-St. Louis, in this feature report, narrated by Senate Communications Officer Dean Morgan.
