Capitol Briefing: Missouri Senate Stands Adjourned for Mid-Session Recess

The Missouri Senate stood adjourned this week for mid-session recess.  Major legislation that passed the Senate in the first half of the session included bills to phase-out the corporate franchise tax, modify Proposition B, establish a prostate cancer pilot program, and make changes to employment law.   

To date, 38 of the 433 Senate bills introduced have been approved by the Missouri Senate and sent to the Missouri House of Representatives.
